This is the second year in a row that we shot the red carpet and events for celebrity fight night. It’s a killer start studded event with a purpose.. backed by Muhammad Ali, all proceeds are donated to provide treatment services and further research  Parkinson disease. I’m not one to get “star struck” but it’s hard not to smile when you are in line for a drink and Kevin Costner strikes up small talk with you.

I came into the office pretty early this morning, it was still dark out and coudn’t have been 6am yet. I open the editing room door to see Dom half awake finishing up the final cut for next thursday’s indie music phoenix show. These are the eyes of no sleep for 3 days.

In this case it’s art imitating life… my buddy Dinesh couldn’t resist his artistic expression of  “Joe Bitter” using lemons and dog biscuits to create these images. Looks like Joe was on the receiving end of a bitter brawl, a short right hook to the face!

Construction is always happening in downtown mesa and my office is in the heart of the art district. There are these cool statues on every block that showcase art donated by Barrette Family Fund.. here are a just a few of what everyone is talking about.

I was heading to starbucks to get my daily fix when I noticed this Lexus with two interesting stickers. I guess if you don’t buy Mary Kay from this lady she will put you in a rear naked choke.

My buddy Dinesh has been laying down crazy designs for years now and he continues to step his game up. He’s bringing my concepts to life and even contributes his own flare to some of the designs.. look out for the new spring/summer tees, they will blow your lid.

As Quite Bitter begins to pick up steam I’m meeting alot of cool new people. Chetan is a guy I met through a good buddy of mine Dinesh, although we’ve not met face to face yet (he lives in India) I’m hoping to get him over to the states for a nice steak and a cold beer! He’s very talented with design and programming and helped create the bitter layout that you see now. Yo Chetan.. you gotta come with Dinesh and hang out in the states buddy!

Not all things are going bad in this crappy economy, and depending on your industry things could be going better than ever. My buddy Jay is heavy into real estate but not the kind you might be thinking of.. he’s becoming quite the “trump” in building and flipping websites. The cool thing about Jay is he’s self taught and just grinds out daily soaking up as much information as he can. We’ve had this running joke on msn for years using an emotion that they got rid of, anyways he sent me this pic a while back spoofing it. I still LOL at this one

I was online early this morning cleaning up my computer.. I’m a neat freak and have a need to stay organized, so every couple months I categorize folders, e.t.c. While doing so I ran across these pics taken back in 2005 when my company did a spec commercial for BMW mini. We were pretty new to the commercial process but had a bunch of fun. The victorian house was killer and the family that let us use it were super cool, it was also the introduction to Blanch Spalding.
